How we create recipes

Every recipe is built on Harvard's Healthy Eating Plate — a nutrition framework developed independently of the food industry and used by clinicians for over 15+ years. Then it goes through our own standard — DishGrade™. Reviewed by our dietitian, recipe by recipe. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't get in.

Plezha DishGrade standard: every recipe goes from idea through four checks — recipe design, cooking UX, series logic and nutrition (≥20g protein, ≥8g fibre, Harvard healthy plate) — before it becomes a Plezha recipe

Stories from real kitchens

For example, Victor is an engineer, game designer, athlete. He has a lot going on and very little time to think about food and cook. One year ago — zero cooking experience. He cooked every Plezha recipe — many times.

Festive dinner and breakfast of Plezha meals, cooked at home by Victor

“I wanted to learn how to eat healthy and balanced while spending minimal time on cooking. And Plezha is 100% the best fit for me! Even for a 0-skill cook like me, it’s usually 20–35 min with very clear video instructions for a whole tasty and balanced meal — either breakfast, lunch, or dinner.”

Victor, who cooked every Plezha recipe

“This app has made our relationship stronger. It’s such a nice feeling when your home feels like a restaurant.”

Alexandra, Victor's wife

“I wanted this to exist already. But every app felt too noisy, too busy, too distracting. I wanted something made for cooking, not scrolling. Something grounded in science, not diet trends. Designed with a dietitian and a chef — so I could trust it, cook with ease, and enjoy. That’s how Plezha began.”
